Halloween 2006

Camille and Gabe dressed and ready to go trick or treating.

Daddy carving pumpkins.

A look inside a pumpkin. Especially interesting if you're in France and never seen this.

Print and lay your design on the pumpkin with tape, then poke holes along the edges.

Use a tiny saw to carve out the design. Westlake Hardware had the tool kit for $1.

We picked the Christian symbols of the dove, fish and cross for our pumpkins. Halloween is not a Christian celebration however any occasion is good to worship the one true God.

We cut a hole at the bottom of the pumpkin the size of the candle so that we just have to lift the pumpkin up to place the candle in, instead of burning fingers trying to do it from the top.

"If it is disagreeable in your sight to serve the LORD, choose for yourselves today whom you will serve: whether the gods which your fathers served which were beyond the River, or the gods of the Amorites in whose land you are living; but as for me and my house, we will serve the LORD." Joshua 24:15
